The Main House is a beautifully restored red brick Federal structure. It was begun about 1770 and completed about 1820. It is accessible to the bridal couple and their guests

The first floor is typically set with tables for the place cards, guest book, photos of the bridal couple, and gifts. The lovely Chiavari chairs can be arranged for guests.

Private dressing areas on the second floor of the residence are decorated and furnished for the bride and for the groom. The bride and bridesmaids will have exclusive use of the Bride's Salon and Powder Room, while the groom and groomsmen will enjoy similar accommodations in the Gentlemen's Lounge and Boardroom. Because we only host one wedding a day, deliveries may be made early in the day and the bridal party can arrive to prepare five hours before the ceremony.

The bright and cheerful bride's salon, with its full-length mirror, is simply charming. Windows permit the bride to observe the site as she prepares for the day. Beautifully decorated with exquisite artwork, the Salon connects with a bathroom that features seating, a wall of mirrors, a dress-length closet, a steamer, iron and ironing board and a refrigerator.

The groom's Lounge, at the opposite end of the second floor, also features a refrigerator, comfortable seating and a full-length mirror. This room connects with the Boardroom where ushers or family members may wish to assemble. A convenient full bathroom is located on the same floor.

Two second floor balconies serve as inviting gathering places. They have a wonderful view of the wedding activities and are perfect for photos and for the bride to toss her bouquet. They are both accessed from the Bridal Salon Hall.
