The Thomas Birkby House has hosted private, corporate and government dinners, events, presentations, and receptions.

The Birkby House offers flexible room arrangements and creative garden settings for an impressive event.

In warm weather, guests may assemble outside when the Birkby House can host 175 guests; gathering on the courtyard with seating and dancing under the tent. The Carriage House adjacent to the tent is a secondary building for outdoor functions, containing a caterer's prep kitchen, handicapped-accessible restroom facilities, an area for a buffet, and in the upper level a children’s room.

The gazebo across the yard is the perfect place for acoustical music or serving hors d’oeuvres.

Inside the main house, the Birkby House can accommodate up to 75 guests for a cocktail reception or 50 for a seated dinner. The rooms of the main house create a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere for your guests, with gold Chiavari chairs and lit fireplaces in the winter months.
